“There’s a reason the punch line to so many doctor jokes start with,
‘I’ve got good news and bad news’.
Often, the bad news is so bad, when something good comes along,
we tend to go a little overboard.”
So this week Amelia is freaking out when she finds out her period is late. And instead of going to this joyful phase by herself or with Owen, she goes and tells Meredith, Maggie, Stephanie and April. And at the end of the day, when she finally tells Owen en finally pies on the stick, it turns out that she’s not pregnant. So we’re left with shots of Amelia where her body is covered.
The best reaction to all this, is the reaction of Meredith, when she finds out Amelia isn’t sure that she’s pregnant.
Jackson is in a hurry and needs to take baby Harriet to daycare and Owen volunteers to take her to day care. But because Harriet is still crying, she first needs to be calm and a sleep, before she can go to daycare. Since Owen has a quit day, he stays with her all day and they bond. So apparently being a high paid surgeon means you can sit on your ass all day, babysit somebody else’s baby and snooze and still get paid for it.
And Bailey tries to enjoy her day of joy when her 80 year old patient, finally gets a liver. And then Meredith’s patient goes into acute liver failure and need’s a liver to make it through the night. Bailey is over the moon when Granny June wants to keep the liver for herself, even it means the other patient will die. But then a miracle happens and Meredith’s patient gets a liver just in time.
“Every cloud has a silver lining. But it’s still a cloud.
A cloud can means a shower or a storm.
So, you take your good days where you can get them.
You try to stay positive.
You try to remember that, even in the bad news
There is good news for someone.”
- Nathan only hit on Meredith once this week, this must be some kind of record.
- And the amount of lies of Meredith to Maggie sticks on 5.
- How long will it take before Jo and DeLuca get together?
Next week on Grey’s Anatomy
