Chicago P.D. Season 4 – Review of episode 07 ‘300,000 Likes’

I’m gonna go on the record and say that Burgess’s new partner, I can’t even be bothered to learn his name, is an ass! He is the reason why so many people hate the police force. He obviously thinks he’s better than any civilian because he is a cop. Can he please be sacked already? Well I guess that’s coming soon, since the genius posted the video of his bodycam of Facebook.  Sad part of this is, he took Burgess down with him so, so she’s also suck at some lame assignment for the time being.

Though that time won’t be long. Dawson took the job of lead investigator at the state’s attorney’s office and will be leaving the unit. Time for Burgess to come in. Personally I’m happy with this. I think Burgess will give a breath of fresh air to the unit and I found Dawson becoming more and more boring. It never sat right with me that he acts like the leader of the team as soon as Voight is not around, will Olinsky is actually his superior. Besides, this episode was the first episode in a really long time that showed something of his personal life. Become of this he kinda became an one dimensional character for me.

Is it me or have Atwater and Ruzek become more buddy buddy all of the sudden? This will probably be to serve as an extra storyline for when Burgess joins the team and has to work with Ruzek. But who know, we’ll see. I’m excited to see what will come.

As for the rest of this episode, it was boring yet again. I hope the second episode of this night will be better.
